The Assam Board of Secondary education is responsible for conducting two main exams including class 10 every year.
- Class 10 board exam is conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam – SEBA.
- Class 12 board exam is conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council -AHSEC.

Assam Board HSLC 2021 Exam Date-Sheet
In view of the rising Covid-19 cases, Assam board has decided to postpone the Classes 10 and 12 state board exams, until further orders. Exams for both the classes were to commence on 11th May 2021, earlier. However, it has now been deferred until further instructions from the health government to go ahead with the exams.
This year about 4.40 lakh students were registered to appear for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Exams under SEBA. Meanwhile, nearly 2.50 lakh students were expected to appear for the Class 12 AHSEC exams.
Meanwhile, the exam last year started on 10 February 2020 and ended on 29 February 2020. Meanwhile, the results for the same were released in May 2020. Please find in the table below, the 2020 exam date-sheet for Class 10.

SEBA Time Table -2018-19
As per the datasheet released by the board of education for the academic year 2018-19, the class 10 exams are scheduled to begin in the month of February 2019, and eventually conclude in March 2019. For class 12, the board exams were scheduled from February to March 2019.
In a day there will be two sessions: Morning session -9:00 am to 12:00 noon, and the Afternoon session -1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
The board has also strictly instructed students that there will be no changes in this exam timetable even if the government has declared a holiday on any of the respective exam dates.
