Students who were eagerly waiting for the Odisha Board 2021 Date Sheet to be released their wait is over. The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha had released the exam date sheet for class 10 and class 12 students in the official site. Students can now check the BSE Odisha board exam dates and accordingly plan their studies.
The latest report, as on 21 April 2021, claim that Odisha government has cancelled the Class 10 Board examination 2021 due to rise in COVID-19 cases across the country. The result is expected to be prepared, based on internal assessment. However, students who want to appear for the examination will get a chance later. The Odisha government, went on to say that it is yet to decide on the cancellation of the Class 12 examinations to be conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education. The state government also announced the promotion of Class 9 and 11 students without exams.
As per the earlier reports, the Odisha government had to postpone all the board examinations, including the Class 10 and 12 tests 2021, due to the spiralling cases of COVID-19 in the state. Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister announced this decision after reviewing the coronavirus situation in Odisha, where the active cases have surpassed the 14,000-mark. The annual matriculation examination and the Class 12 examination have both been postponed. The tests for Class 10 were scheduled from 3 May 2021 and the Plus-II examinations from 18 May 2021. Patnaik has also announced that the state government will take a decision on conducting the examinations post the reviewing of the pandemic situation, in the first week of June 2021. Meanwhile, CM added that the students of Classes 9 and 11 are expected to be promoted to the subsequent standard without appearing for any test.
