Electricity makes the world go round, but what actually is electricity? Scientifically speaking, electricity is a form of energy that is either static (static electricity) or moves from place to place (current electricity). We see this phenomenon naturally occur in nature as lightning. Auroras that appear in the northern skies are related to electricity – where, charged particles from the sun collide with the earth’s magnetic field to produce countless photons.
Today, we have many ways to produce electricity such as hydro-power plants, windmills, solar farms and even nuclear power stations.
