Cabinet approves establishment of FLRP
- FLRP – Food Legumes Research Platform
- It will be set up at Amlaha, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh
- This is a research and development institution, which will enable India
- To harness the best of international science in meeting the emerging food security challenges.
- India would be able to rapidly and effectively absorb the research output achieved in the country by FLRP
- It will make India centre for agricultural research and will attract further research & development investment
