Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) held on 24 August 2020. GUJCET is conducted in three subjects comprising two sessions. Physics and Chemistry are the two subjects in Paper 1. Paper 2 has questions from Mathematics. GUJCET merit score is calculated, giving 60% weightage to marks scored in Class 12 and 40% weightage is for percentile score in GUJCET exam.
GUJCET 2020 Paper Pattern:
- Â GUJCET is an offline examination (OMR based).
- Â All the subjects include only multiple-choice questions.
- The paper can be taken in English, Hindi or Gujarati.
- Â Candidates should attempt 120 questions in 3 hours.
- Â Physics and Chemistry – 2 hours
- Â Mathematics/Biology – 1 hour
- One mark will be allotted to every correct answer.
- GUJCET paper pattern has negative marking. (0.25 marks) will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- There will be 40 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from each subject.
- Paper 1 comprises 40 questions from Physics and 40 questions from Chemistry.
- Paper 2 consists of 40 questions from Mathematics/Biology.
- Paper 1 should be attempted by both B. Tech and B. Pharma aspirants.
- B. Tech aspirants should attempt Mathematics in Paper 2 and B. Pharma aspirants should attempt Biology.
