JEE Advanced 2021 new exam date has been announced by NTA as well as Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The exam will now be held in the month of October. While the exam was scheduled to be held on July 3rd it was postponed due to the lockdown state in the country due to the Corona pandemic. IIT Kharagpur will conduct the entrance exam on October 3rd.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts – from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (Paper-1) and 14:30 pm to 17:30 pm (Paper-2). Top candidates who clear JEE Main 2021 and fall under the 2.5 lakh ranks will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021.

Candidates who clear JEE Advanced will be allocated seats across IITs, NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutes (CFTIs). The admission will be done through a common process headed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). This process will be held in an online mode for 2021.

Meanwhile, the dates related to JEE Advanced application form availability and admit cards will be announced in the coming days. Candidates can check our website for details about registration, eligibility and exam pattern. 

Also, important notice for candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2020 but were unable to write the exam due to Covid or related situations. These candidates will be allowed to directly write JEE Advanced 2021 without appearing for JEE Main 2021 exam.
