Important Changes in JEE Main Exam
From 2021 onwards JEE Main is expected to be conducted in 4 sessions. The exams will be held in the months of February, March, April and May. The exam conducting body has also said the exam will set in different languages including English, Hindi, Urdu and also in eight regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. Students will have to attempt 75 questions out of 90 questions in JEE Main paper 1.
For BE, BTech, candidates will have to attempt 20 Multiple Choice Questions or MCQs. For Section B, they will be required to attempt 5 out of 10 questions. B.Arch and B. Planning, students will also get a choice in answering the question and they will be required to attempt 5 out of 10 questions.
More significantly, NTA is also in charge of prescribing the JEE Main syllabus, issuing application forms, admit cards and declaring the results.
