The Karnataka Board 2nd Pre-University Course (PUC) Results were announced on 20th July 2021 at around 04:00 pm. The results were declared on the board’s website, and the students can check their results on the Official Website. Over 6 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exams, 2021. Due to the 2nd wave of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the students were declared pass. Meanwhile, the number of students who had registered for the Exam stream-wise are as follows:
- Science – 2,19,777
- Commerce – 2,51,686
- Arts – 1,95,034
The students were evaluated based on an alternative marking scheme. This year, the number of students with full-marks (600/600) were 2,239.
KSEEB 2nd PUC Results 2020 Highlights
The Karnataka Board 2nd PUC Results were announced on 14th July 2020 at 11.30 am. The results were sent through a short messaging service (SMS) to students, who had given their mobile numbers to the board by 11.30 a.m, and were also declared on the board’s website. Over 6.7 lakh students had appeared for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exams. The overall passing percentage was 61.80%, with the girls at 68.73% pass percentage, while 54.77% of the boys had passed the Exam. Meanwhile, stream-wise passing percentage are as follows:
- Science – 76.2%
- Commerce – 65.52%
- Arts – 41.27%

The KSEEB 2nd Year PUC has from 5.5-6.5 lakh students appearing every year. The numbers dipped low in 2017, when 5,43,443 students appeared for their Class 12 Karnataka Board Exams. In 2021, as many as 6,66,497 students had registered, out of which, all were declared successful. The Karnataka board 2nd Year PUC Exams record a pass percentage of around 60% every year. Almost every year, for the past few years, the girls are outshining the boys. How to Check KSEEB 2nd PUC Results?
The Department of Pre University Examination Karnataka releases the results on their official website every year. The students will be able to check for the results at the Official Website.
- Go to the Karnataka Results Official Website.
- You can see a Table. See the column next to the Pre-University Examination Board. Open the link that says “PUC Results Announced On…”
- Then, enter the details asked for in the page.
- Results will now be displayed on the screen.
Students can check for the results school-wise, name-wise and roll number-wise. Results displayed online are just for your information, and the original mark sheets can be obtained from their respective schools. Students can also know the process of Calculating the CGPA from the grade points.
