RRB Group D Notification

The RRC Level 1 Group D examination is conducted by RRB on behalf of RRC. The RRB Group D official notification 2020 is yet to be released. 

The last recruitment notice released by the Railway Board was RRB Group D Notification 2019. The RRB Group D 2019 Notification was released on February 23rd 2019 and the RRC Group D recruitment examination is scheduled to be conducted in April 2021.

RRC Group D Exam Dates

RRB Group D Vacancy

The RRB Group D notification for 2020 vacancy will be announced after the release of recruitment notice by the railway board.

RRB Group D Recruitment Eligibility

RRC Group D Recruitment Exam Pattern

 The exam pattern or the selection process of RRC group D recruitment is decided by RRB. The Railway Recruitment Board Group D exam pattern is divided into three stages.

Candidates who wish to appear for the RRC Level 1 exam have to undergo the following stages of RRB Group D Recruitment:

1. Computer Based Test in the online mode of 100 marks with the penalty of 1/3rd marks for each wrong attempt. The test is for 90 minutes covering questions from four important and common sections in all competitive exams. Reasoning, maths, GK and GS. Candidates who obtain the minimum score set by the RRB are shortlisted for the next stage.
2. Physical Efficiency Test: As mentioned in the RRB Notification Group D exam, candidates who attain the minimum cut off marks are called for PET test. Though the test is qualifying in nature, it is mandatory for candidates to pass the test. That is the marks obtained in the PET test will not be considered for the final merit list. 
3. Document Verification (DV) – Based on the marks scored in the CBT and qualification in PET test candidates are called for the verification of their documents. This is a really important stage of RRB Group D selection process, as if a candidate fails to provide documental proof of information provided by him in the application form, will lead to cancellation of his candidature.

RRB Group D Syllabus

The Syllabus of Group D Level 1 RRB recruitment exam is mentioned in detail in the RRC Group D notification. 

As per the RRC Group D notification the syllabus of RRC level 1 exam is divided into four broad sections- General Reasoning and Intelligence, General Awareness and Current Affairs, Mathematics and General Science.

RRB Group D Online Application

The online application for Group D 2021 exam will start with the releases of RRC Group D notification which is yet to be announced by the board.

Candidates are given in general one month after the release of RRC Group D notification to apply for the examination. Candidates will find and be able to fill the RRB recruitment online application on the RRB official website.

RRC Group D Admit Card

RRC/RRB Group D Admit Card is released through a separate RRB Group D notification. The Railway Recruitment Board publishes the RRC admit card notification for Level 1 exam on the RRB Official Website. 

Usually, the railway board releases RRB Group D notification for admit card, 15 days before the final RRC Level 1 examination. Candidates are required to download the Group D RRC admit card from the respective regional RRB official websites.

RRC Group D Result

Like RRC Admit Card, Railway Board releases separate RRB Group D notification to announce the Group D/Level 1 Result.  Also, the board releases separate RRC Group D results for all the stages of the RRC level 1 examination.

The Railway Recruitment Board published the RRB Group D result on the regional RRBs official websites. 

For the RRB Group D 2019 notification, the RRC Group D result will be announced after the successful conduction of the RRB Level 1 exam in September/October 2020.
