RRB JE Eligibility– The RRB eligibility criteria, as set by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), consists of age limit, educational qualification, medical verification and citizenship. The application for the RRB JE Exam can only be completed once the eligibility criteria for the same has been fulfilled.

RRB Exam Eligibility – JE 2021

Candidates must go through the RRB JE eligibility criteria carefully while filling the application for the RRB JE. The salient points regarding the RRB Junior Engineer eligibility are as follows:

1. The minimum age required to apply for RRB JE Recruitment is 18 years.
2. Only those candidates who have a background in engineering can apply for the exam.
3. A candidate must pass a Medical Test conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board.

RRB JE Eligibility – Nationality

As per the RRB Exam eligibility regarding nationality, a candidate must belong to the following categories:

• A citizen of India
• A subject of Nepal
• A subject of Bhutan
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with to permanently settle in India.

The relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age for the following categories/communities is given in the table below. The RRB JE Age limit relaxation will be applied in accordance with the submission of requisite certificates.

Candidates must have the following educational qualifications in order to satisfy the RRB JE eligibility. The candidates who do not have these qualifications cannot apply for the RRB JE.
