The recruitment for all the SSC exams is conducted under the authorisation of Staff Selection Commission. The SSC recruitment for various examinations is discussed in detail below.

SSC Recruitment JE

The SSC Recruitment details for 2021 exam has not yet released by the commission.

The SSC recruitment details are for JE 2019, released by the Staff Selection Commission to conduct SSC JE Tier I 2019 from September 1st to September 4th, 2020 (now postponed). The new SSC JE exam dates can be checked on the linked page.

SSC JE Vacancies

As the recruitment for Junior engineer exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, therefore the SSC vacancy for JE is announced by the commission only. Check SSC JE Exam page to check the post for which SSC recruitment is conducted in JE exam.

SSC Vacancy For GD

The Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC vacancies for all the recruitment examinations it conducts.

SSC Recruitment CPO

The SSC CPO recruitment for 2021 is yet to be announced. The SSC CPO recruitment gives an idea on the tentative SSC vacancies, posts and salary for CPO exam. The SSC vacancy for CPO 2021 will be announced with the notification.

The SSC vacancy for the Central Police Organisation examination announced by the Commission through an official notification on June 17th 2020 is 1564 whereas for the SSC recruitment 2018 CPO exam the vacancy released was 1560 but later it increased to 1578.

SSC CGL Vacancies

The SSC vacancy for CGL 2020-21 is 6506. For the Group ‘B’ Gazetted the number of vacancies is 250, for the Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted it is 3513 and for Group ‘C’ the number of Vacancies are 2743.

SSC MTS Recruitment

SSC recruitment for MTS – Multi- Tasking Staff is organised by the Staff Selection Commission for various posts.

The Staff selection commission has announced the date of SSC MTS 2020-21 exam. The SSC MTS 2020-21 paper I is scheduled from 1st July 2021 onwards. The notification for SSC MTS 2020 is scheduled to be out by February 2nd 2021.

SSC Vacancy MTS Exam

The Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC vacancy for MTS exam through an official circular on its website.

SSC Stenographer Recruitment

The Staff Selection Commission holds SSC recruitment of the Stenographer Exam to select eligible candidates for the Grade C and Grade D posts.

SSC released SSC Stenographer notification 2020-21 on October 10th to conduct Stenographer CBE from March 29th 2021 onwards. 

Currently, the commission is undergoing the Stenographer 2019 recruitment, the examination for which is scheduled in November 2020.

SSC Vacancy Stenographer

The SSC vacancy 2021 for Stenographer exam is yet to be announced by the commission.

The SSC Stenographer Exam 2019 dates are revised and are scheduled to be conducted from November 16th 2020, onwards.

SSC Stenographer Salary

The commission sets the SSC salary for Stenographers. SSC Stenographers being a government job have good salary structure with the possibility of increment.

SSC Stenographers salary varies as per the Grades. The basic SSC Salary for Grade C Stenographer post is 14, 500 with the pay band of (4,200 or 4,600 (Pay Grade 2)). Whereas the SSC Salary For Stenographer Grade D posts is 7600 with the pay band of (2,400 (Pay grade 1)).

Apart from the salaries mentioned in the table for both the grades, SSC Stenographers are entitled to the following allowances:

• House Rent Allowance
• Dearness Allowance
• Transport Allowance
