WBJEE counselling 2020 will start after the announcement of WBJEE results. WBJEE qualified candidates should register on the WBJEE website and enter the details of courses and institutions, in the order of preference. WBJEE counselling registration is done on its official website.
The WBJEE 2020 counselling fee has to be paid by the candidate. The concerned authorities conduct three rounds of counselling seat allotment. Seat allotment is done based on the merit of candidates, preference of course/college, availability of seats. WBJEE Counselling Process
Follow these steps to apply for the counselling of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination:
Step 1: Registering for WBJEE counselling 2020
The first step is to register for WBJEE 2020 counselling on the official website of WBJEE. Candidates should enter all the necessary information correctly. The registration process has to be done only once for all three rounds of counselling.
Step 2: Registration fee payment
The registration fee has to be paid immediately after registration for counselling. Payment can be done by debit/credit card or Netbanking.
Step 3: Filling of course and institution choices
After the WBJEE counselling registration is done, the next step is to select the courses and institutions, in the order of preference. Making changes and locking the order of preferences of colleges and courses can be done before the specified last date. If candidates fail to close their choices, the system locks the saved content automatically.
Step 4: WBJEE counselling seat allotment
The authorities allot seats to the candidates based on selected preferences and availability of seats. WBJEE seat allotment is done in three rounds. If the candidate wants to download the seat allotment letter, the candidate has to pay the seat acceptance fee online through Netbanking or debit/credit card. Seat acceptance fee can be paid offline also (e-challan of Allahabad bank).
Step 5: Document verification at the specified Reporting Centre
After the candidate accepts the allotted seat, he will be called for document verification at the authorised centres. After the process of document verification by the concerned authorities is complete, the candidate will be given admission to the institution.
