The full form of CC is Cubic Capacity . CC relates to engine size and capability. It describes the automobile cylinder volume between the Piston Top Dead Center (TDC) and the Bottom Dead Center (BDC), where the combustion takes place within the actual cylinder. The Cubic Capability or displacement is the volume that the piston sweeps inside the cylinder.
