According to the schedule released, the authorities will release the JoSAA Counselling 2022 Round 2 mock seat allotment result on September 20, 2022, whereas the final list of seat allocations will come out on September 23, 2022. The final list for round 2 will be issued on September 28, 2022, followed by the third and fourth lists, which will be declared on October 3, 2022, and October 8, 2022, respectively. The fifth list of seat allocations will be released on October 12, 2022, and the last list, i.e., the sixth list, will be issued on October 16, 2022. Candidates require login credentials like an application number and password in order to check the result. How to check the JoSAA Round 1 mock seat allocation?

  1. In order to check the result, candidates need to go to the official website, josaa.nic.in.
  2. Go to the ‘candidate activity board’ which will be available on the homepage, and click on the link that reads "View 1st Mock (Purely Indicative) Allotment Details," which will be available under it.
  3. The login page will open.
  4. On the login page, mention the required login credentials and click on submit.
  5. Check all the details mentioned on the result card.
  6. Download it and take a printout for future reference.
Applicants who did not register for JEE (Main) 2022 but applied for JEE (Advanced) 2022 will need a JEE (Main) 2021 application number to login, whereas candidates who applied for JEE (Advanced) 2022 will need to use either the JEE (Advanced) 2022 password or the JEE (Main) 2022 password. The Ministry of Education conducts the JoSAA in order to offer admission to 114 institutes, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 33 other government-funded technical institutes (other-GFTIs).
